What is so good about SLR camera compared to normal digital camera?
A digital SLR is better than a normal point of a shot. Are two different things. That's like asking "Why is a better car than a bicycle?" You agree that one is better in one category, while the other is better in a different?
An SLR camera gives the User the more creative options for exposure and focal length for a point-and-shoot (PNS). However, PnS is a simple solution to what is often a simple problem.
Take two photographers. Take a SLR and a bag full of the best lenses. Take another PnS. Ask them to sit next to each other. When something happens suddenly in front of them, no one will take the picture? I assure you that the photographer PnS will get it. He will not have to worry about the focal length is required, so that lens. He will not have to worry about which aperture and shutter speed is necessary. It only raises the camera up and capture the image.
However ....
Take those same two photographers and put them in a mountain range and ask for photos. You will see photos of much more creative than the SLR photographer with the photographer PNS. Why?SLR because the photographer can choose to 400 millimeters telephoto and grab a great shot of the bald eagle filling the picture while shooting the photographer PnS has the bald eagle, but not so prominent. The photographer SLR can capture stream "beautiful flow" shots where the color and movement of the flow blows your mind. Photos PnS be comparatively dull.
If you want to "capture the moment" and shoot snapshots, the SNP is a camera well. (Actually, more PnSes has features that make it more SLR-like, but without changing the lens.)
If you want to take fine art photographs, or shooting professionally, the SLR is the way to go.
