My kids have multiple video game systems,there any way to hook them up without switching cables all the time?

Yes there is. I have one. Basicallu its a hub with multiple connections for all your AV cables but it has only one going back to the tV. Just look around any hardware shop, there should be one

you know those system selectors for video games and dvd players and stuff, to plug all your electronics into,?

Yes, of all major brand names, Sony, Samsung, Philips, etc, there is a company that makes HD selectors (I call them switchers, cause that's kinda what they ultimately are). It's Pelican Accessories Inc. Yep the third party video game accessory maker is the only name out there that makes selectors available with HD. I believe one of there latest wave of selectors both standard and high def come with remotes, and are availble in white, silver, and black.
You can rearrange the name plates with what consoles go in what number switch.
