Austin Dillon scored his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Texas Motor Speedway for Friday night's WinStar World Casino 400k in Fort Worth.

Dillon, covered the 1.5-mile TMS quadoval Thursday evening in 30.266-seconds and 178.654 mph in a truck fielded by Childress Racing.

Dillon, the 20-year-old grandson of team-owner Richard Childress, scored his first career series pole in his 10th start, including eight this season.

Matt Crafton will start second after scoring a 30.256-seconds and 178.477 mph in the No. 88 Menards Chevrolet.

Native Texan James Buescher qualified third after lapping at 30.346-seconds and 177.948 mph in the No. 31 Wolf Pack Rentals Chevy.

Buescher landed in the second row with Todd Bodine, the series points-leader and defending champion. Bodine, a five-time Truck Series winner at TMS, qualified fourth with a lap
